What can you do?
The most important step is the first step. Get involved in your community! Participate in local beach cleanups, if you live on the coast. If you don’t, spread awareness via social media or verbally share this message with your friends/family. Find organizations leading cleanup efforts and donate, whether it be through time or money. When the ocean is polluted, it affects everyone. Everything, from our food, our recreation, to even our cheesy instagram pics, are affected. Let’s make this world a better place, both for us, and the generations that will come after us.
